Newsletter January 2008

Hello Everyone

Hope your winter break is going well and you are now starting to think about the League season.

IMPORTANT DATE FOR YOUR DIARY: 25TH FEBRUARY 2008
This is the cut off date for ordering T-Shirts, Polo’s, Training T- Shirts, Vests & Hoodie’s. After this date we are unable to place any more orders for the 2008 season.

Roosters Hoodie’s
Roosters Hoodie’s are available to order. Black and grey in colour featuring the Roosters Logo. The price is £30 with cheques made payable to St Ives ARLFC. Cut off date to order is 25th February.

Roosters Vests
We have a new design vest for 2008. Colours are red, black and white with Roosters on the back and club badge on the front. Cost is £17.99. Cut off date to order is 25th February

Polo’s & Training T-Shirts
I need to know the size of Polo and T-Shirt you need for the new season. Cut off date to order is 25th February.

New Home Playing Kit
Kukri have agreed to replace last seasons playing kit with a brand new one that should not fall apart !

Pre Season Training
Pre season Training will take place on THURSDAY evenings.
The first session is THURSDAY 3rd APRIL.

Fixtures 2008
The fixtures for 2008 have still to be confirmed but the provisional dates are below. I do not expect any changes:

10th May – Cambridge (Away)
17th May – Northampton (Away)
24th May – Colchester (Home)
31st May – Thetford (Away)
14th June – Hainault (Home)
21st June – Greenwich (Away)
28th June – Cambridge (Away)
5th July – Northampton (Home)
12th July – Colchester (Away)
19th July – Thetford (Home)
2nd August – Hainault (Away)
9th August – Greenwich (Home)

Membership & Match Fee’s 2008
Same as last season

£60 for the season – this includes signing on, match fee’s and free T-Shirt

£30 signing on only plus free T-Shirt

£5 match fee

Individual Player Sponsorship
Individual player sponsorship this season is £25. In return you will receive a free club Polo Shirt.

Club Dress for Fixtures 2008

• Club Polo for all fixtures with lapel badge
• Warm Up – club warm up T-Shirt or Club Vest

Sponsorship
We are looking for club sponsors for the 2008 season. If you know anyone who will sponsor the club please let a committee member know.

Just a reminder boys and girls. You only have until Monday 25th February to let Ian know your polo shirt and warm up T- shirt sizes for the coming season! If you don't give us your shirt size you might end up with a very snug fitting top! mmm nice touch!!

Also, if you want a hoodie, size and money also have to be with Ian by 25th Feb. No size requirement and no money received = no order!!

I noticed on the January news letter that the fixture list has Roosters down for away games against Cambridge twice!

Do we now know which date is the home game yet?

10th May – Cambridge (Away)
17th May – Northampton (Away)
24th May – Colchester (Home)
31st May – Thetford (Away)
14th June – Hainault (Home)
21st June – Greenwich (Away)
28th June – Cambridge (Away)

The second advertised away game against Cambridge is actualy our HOME game.
